He can’t wait to read the book himself. I absolutely loved this book, it was so interesting and really kept me reading. Sometimes a good dose of perspective is extremely illuminating. He grew up in South Dakota, which means more to him than it probably should.
Sam Xam book, like the books by Mary Roach, is filled with ksan stories about how even the smallest injuries to the brain can produce large, bizarre, and almost unpredictable consequences. Even if you have little to no scientific background you will get a lot of enjoyment out of this book.
